Route Exceptions

Route Exceptions are implemented to have Child servers deliver routed email to different locations. For example, if you have a Mailborder cluster with two Child servers in remote locations, the Child servers can be configured to deliver to a mail server local to itself.

This is commonly used in Microsoft Exchange environments where the Exchange environments has numerous DAG heads in multiple locations.
