Sender Policy Framework (SPF) records are used to indicate to mail exchanges which hosts are authorized to send mail for a domain. It’s defined in RFC 4408, and clarified by RFC 7208.
If you relay email from your internal network out through the Mailborder server, the Mailborder server needs to be included in your SPF record authorizing it to send email for you domain. Failure to do so will result in your email being rejected or quarantined by remote servers.
